Besan Laddu

Ingredients

  • ½ cup ghee
  • 2 cup besan
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 pods elaichi
  • 2 tbsp water-melon seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped kaju

DIRECTION

  • 1Roast ghee & besan in a large kadai on low flame.

  • 2Continue to roast for around 30 mins until the besan turns golden brown & grainy.

  • 3Transfer the mixture to a large bowl & let it cool.

  • 4Dry roast the water-melon seeds & kaju until they turn crunchy.

  • 5Add the roasted nuts to the besan ghee mixture.

  • 6Take the sugar & elaichi in a blender & blend to a fine powder.

  • 7Once the besan is cooled, mix in the powdered sugar.

  • 8Make sure everything is well combined.

  • 9Prepare a ball sized laddu adjusting sugar as per taste.
